Being one of the well-established financial institutions of Turkish banking industry, TEB approached I-AM to carry its already loved banking app to the next level through improving and re-designing all of its digital channels.
After completing the data analysis and user research, we identified two basic user needs in a mobile app: Accessing the financial information and managing the transactions. In the existing banking apps, we observed that these two needs are merged in the interface, therefore we simplified the new interface through separating the financial information and the actions.
We designed the new Cepteteb in a way to make the users’ lives easier and faster. The new Cepteteb app exhibits the financial information and financial transactions in a pure and simplified interface. We developed notification cards for crucial information such as credit card payment deadlines and minimum amounts. These non-intrusive, yet informative cards have simple and comprehensible designs. Additionally, the night mode breaks all the seriousness of banking apps and gives the user a space for customization and fun.
In order to attract new customers, we added the option to be the bank’s new customer without any necessity of going to the branch. By doing so, we made the lives of the new customers easier as well and assisted the brand to enhance its customer network. We also eased the lives of developers by grouping all of the data inside the app and realised a sustainable mobile app design.
